Grigol Robakidze University, Tbilisi (GRUNI) was founded in 1992. It is one of the Universities in Georgia providing high-quality medical education to all students with diverse cultural backgrounds. The university is situated in the city suburb of Tbilisi, in around 15000 km ecologically clean area.

GRUNI building is not multistory; therefore, there are many ventilation and open areas, making a comfortable environment for students to study anytime. All the students rate this as international standards.

Student Life

The MD Educational Program strives to provide medical personnel with a range of competencies defined by the Tuning Project and compatible with the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME) standards.

The university’s cutting-edge infrastructure with highly trained professors and popular foreign professors as guest lecturers gives much-needed understanding to medical students.

The hostel building is up and running. It comprises more than 100 rooms, out of which 30 single rooms and 70 double rooms. Each room has its toilet, washing machine, bathroom, fridge, and separate studying space. Students can share a common kitchen located on each floor. The dining hall and cinema club are based on placement. It also provides a sports facility to the students with a basketball court, football field, and bowling arena.
